Memorable Photos

Below are photos that I’ve taken from home, traveling, family and just every-day life that I’ll always remember

Vientiane, LAOS: My cousin playing outside my grandfathers house with her Vietnamese friend. Within Laos there are many displaced Vietnamese who now call Laos their home after the Vietnam War. The cousins were living in this run-down two-story house, that was frequently flooded. Fortunately, starting 5/2006, contruction began on a new, modern and raised house for my grand-parents, funded by my family in the US.

Siem Reap, Cambodia: One of the many ancient temples that still stand, just amazing. This was the site of the 2004 Tomb Raider movie starring Angelina Jolie. I don’t recall the name of this ruin, but this is a must-see in addition to Ankor Wat.

Civita di bagnoregio, Civita: One of the most unique and hidden towns I visited while in Italy. Civita di Bagnoregio is located about two hours outside of Rome. To the borders with the Umbria, Civita of Bagnoregio is known like “the city that dies” because the erosion and of the slow slipping of the rock volcanic on which the village was born. Connected to the firm earth from a bridge, in the village it remains the Romanesque church of S. Donato and the renaissance palaces of the Colesanti and the Alemanni. Excellent the taverns where bread can be tasted breamed with above oil and tomato and other accompanied by a good person selection of wines. It is caught up covering the state road them Cassia until Montefiascone in order turning in direction of Orvieto, or with the A1 freeway exiting to the casello of Orvieto. Bagnoregio is situated to average road between Orvieto and the lake of Bolsena. Qoute Source
